A Classical Music Experience You Will Not Forget
When you think of watching a classical music performance, you may not expect a comedy bit or the opportunity to participate. However, if you attend a performance by Symphony d’Oro Rancho Cordova, you may just get both. They have performed at various locations throughout the Rancho Cordova Community, including in the center of KP International Market on a Sunday afternoon.
“At Symphony d’Oro, we never do anything garden variety,” said Lorraine Crozier, President of Symphony d’Oro Rancho Cordova. “We want to expand participation in classical music because the audience is really what makes the experience complete,” she added.
In their upcoming performance and annual fundraiser, Mozart Madness on March 21 at City Hall in Rancho Cordova, you will hear the sublime music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart incorporated with various multimedia pieces.
“We have a real dedication to removing barriers surrounding classical music,” said Pete Nowlen, Music Director of Symphony d’Oro Rancho Cordova. “This will not be your average concert. It will be a very entertaining way to learn about classical music,” he added.
Pete came to the Sacramento region in 1987 as a French hornist and is now both a conductor and a teacher.
